I am 25 years old and I missed my period. Now though my period is just a few days late, I am never later. My period comes early if anything at all. I think I am pregnant, I don't know how to tell my parents and I am to start a job in a week or two!!!

| hey. i know how you must feel. but people go through with these things all the time. im only 18, so its a little harder. i know that some people would rather wait until they are financially stable and have their lifes as a whole, but thats not the case most of the time. i dont think your job will throw too much of a fit, as long as you tell them when you find out, im sure they ll work with you. it shouldnt be a problem because you just got pregnant. what kind of job are you starting? as long as it doesnt require heavy lifting i think youll be ok. parents are somewhat disappointed when they first find out but im your case they might be a little more understanding. your 25 and your old enough to make wise decisions, im sure youll be a great mom and everything will work out. good luck ↑ |

| I have not taken a pregnancy test yet, I'm still waiting to see if my period will come on. Recently, I've been having slight pains in my lower abdominal area...I wonder if that is a sign of a miscarriage coming on. I am very stressed out becuase I want my baby and then I don't want it....I mean I just graduated from colllege, I live home with my parents, I am not working now, I am to start working maybe the end of the month, I don't have a house, a car..I mean this is just the wrong time for me, so I don't know what to do... ↑ |

| all i can say is do what you will be able to do without having any regrets. hopefully that makes sense.. what do you feel most strongly about? if its having a baby then you need to go with that. You just finished school you had said and might have ajob at the end of the month... thats a plus you have 9 months to get everything in order. does the baby's father want to go through this with you? and talk to your parents .you might be surprised on their reaction ↑ |

| Yes the baby father wants it...I want it o but I don't know how my parents will react. I am so scared to tell them, I don't want them to go against me. And I'm worried about how I wil tell my boss I am pregnant, at this company you have to employed 9 months before they give you maternity leave..if I'm almost 5 weeks now htat means I should have the baby in July 2006 which would only make me about 7-8 weeks on the job...then what...oh gosh I am so scared and confused!!! ↑ |

| First of all Congrats! Next believe that your parents will love you no matter what. Babies have a way of healing doubtful minds. As soon as you get up the nerve to tell them there might be a struggle, but it won't last long. As for your job, until you get further into your pregnancy its none of their business. Alot can happen in a few months, you could find a better job that pays more or win the lottery, but I wouldn't tell the boss until you know that everything is written in stone., ↑ |

My period comes early too... if you are worried I would say just go out and get a test or go to the doctor and get a test done. You don't even need to tell anyone about it.. in case you are not and how confused you are at this time. I am around your age and I actually just had 2 periods in one month.. and now I am going through all the symptoms of pregnancy... like swollen boobs. gained a few lbs., and really sleepy... I have a 7 year old so I kind of know that feeling and I also have lower side pains by my ovaries.. When I was pregnant with my son, all I did was sleep..
You have so many options as well as far as what you will do if you do find out if you really are pregnant... Hon.. there are always options just so you know.. If you are scared of telling your family.. than don't .. This is your body and your life.. Always know that ..
And as far as a job, the kind of job it is .. do you have to lift anything?? can you just sit there??? a lot of moving around??? a lot of companies, people will say will work with you depending on where you work..
Hang in there... I know what you are going through.. I will be praying for you whoever and wherever you are.. There's a saying that has stuck in my head for a long time and what people used to say to me.. It's hard right now and you may not see it now but everything will be okay.... it has to be (and I think this saying goes with a lot of things in life today..) ↑ |

| If you are pregnant It would be illegal for your job to fire you for that reason if they already hired you. I would just wait a couple of weeks or months to tell them so you are past the probation period. That would be descrimination. Further If you are pregnant talk to your parents. You are 25 and they would probobly accept it and be supportive after the initial news. ↑ |

| Hiya just pop to your doctors or the family planning clinic to get advise and a test. you dont even need to tell anyone. then you need to think about the results and decide from then. plus think about what you want and not what everone wants for you. there is plenty of help out there for you. ↑ |

Really...It may be bad timing..but do you realize how many "Young" girls are on here that are pregnant????? They have a reason to be scared!..Not to be rude or anything...But you are 25... Think about the younger girls who are under 18..They HAVE to tell there parents in order to get to a doctor ..a good one and fast...If you are pregnant..You should consider your self VERY Blessed!... Think about it...You have FINISHED college.. and these other girls havent even finish high school...let a lone start college!...It may not be perfect timing...But....Think about how much better it is then theirs!......Things work out for them..they will deffinately work out for you!....
