ok dinos mom had a garage sale at her house today. yesterday dino asked her who was going to be watching xylea since xylea stays with her durring the day while i am at work. she told us that she was going to stay inside with her and that her sister was going to be outside taking care of the garage sale.

well i pulled up there durring lunch and dinos mom is sitting outside.........and xyleas stroller is outside.........

ok your probably saying big deal right......i think wrong......

my main reason is this.....

xylea has a major rash on both cheeks that is running down to her neck and it goes from her ears to her eyes down to her neck......HEAT MAKES IT WORSE AND ITS HOT HERE.......... we told her this . well when i went inside the house to pick her up to play with her before i went back to work her rash was horrible and red.

another is just she told us she was going to be inside with her all day not outside.....

am i wrong for being mad or should i just let it go?

forgot to say that her rash was under controll this morning and not red at all. it is actually in the peeling stage. but it was not red this morning...

I'd be mad, it's your child and they need to respect you. If you hadn't asked ahead of time what the arrangements would be it would be one thing but you specifically asked. But if she's your full time caregiver I'm not sure it's worth making a big deal out of, you might lose out on your caregiver.

Why don't you find somebody you can trust.

A liar isn't exactly a great trait to have as a childminder!

i do trust her she is dinos mother and my soon to be mil and i just feel like she shouldnt have done that. its not like xylea was inside by herself dinos sister was in there with her...but its the fact xylea was outside.

Maybe your mil wasn't clear that you wanted the baby to stay inside, and next time make sure that she understands your wishes. It might help to explain why you want her inside. I'm sure she loves her granddaughter and doesn't mean to harm her in any way.

Well...if you wanna let her keep lookin' after Xyl...then...I guess you're gonna just have to let this one slip.

But be VERY clear on what you want the next time...

thanks girls. and mabye dino didnt make it clear but i remember telling her that heat will make the rash worse you would just think she wouldnt take her outside at all. but i guess i will just let this one slip. i was mad but i have it good for her to be watching her instead of some stranger....

you have every right to be mad, but like some of the other girls said, maybe next time you need to be EXTRA clear with making sure she understands exactly what you want. Im sure she didnt think i'd be harmful, but i guess just be a bit more specific. Not saying you weren't, just maybe she misunderstood you.

your right. but i know i herd her say that she was going to be inside all day that she wasnt the one that was going to be running it her sister was and that means she was going to be inside. if she didnt have the rash it would have been ok but this morning it looked good and when i saw her at lunch it was flared up again.
