Im so pissed, Chris has been traning for like4 weeks now for the army, and we have yet to see a pay check. So since he had to quit his job to leave for active duty and i quit mine to stay home with Tyler, there is no source of income what so ever. I have called our Electric and Cable bills to tell them of our situation and they claim there is nothing they can do at all, I wasn't asking them to take off a months worth of bills, i was just asking them if we could pay them at a set later date. So now our Cable for our TV and for our internet is out, but it takes the internet longer to disconnect thats why im still on, and now out power will probably be shut off tomorrow, im so fucking pissed i was trying so hard not to cry on the phone with these people, its so fucked up! I sent an e-mail to the Cable people and they said we can reduce our services so that we can better afford it, and i was like well thats not the issue its not too much for us to handle its just that we are waiting for the Government to pay us! I told them Way to support the Troops! I dont know what im suppose to do when the electric guy comes and turns off the power, and then we will be hit with an additional fee! Its absolutely ridiculous that here in America these companies arnt willing to work out something to help our soldiers out. with the cable i even threatened to discontinue our services and they said We understand that you have a number of home entertainment options, so we are working hard to maintain our service as the "best value" available. I can certainly understand and I respect your decision, but I would hate to lose you as a customer.
but they didn't say any thing or even try to keep us as a customer im soo agitated at every thing!! ↓

| If I knew your local TV station, I'd call and let them know the story...let's see how fast the government starts paying and the utilities get turned back on without additional charges! | Ya i thought about the news station, lol but i dont think i want to be on TV lol but any ways Chris called me late last night, he was able to get on some ones computer and see when hes getting paid, and hes getting paid on the 13th of this month, its not all the money that they owe him but its some. The Barracks that hes staying in are horrible, 2 Toilets 3 shower heads and the room is about at wide a a 2 car garage and as long as a foot ball field, No air conditioning or fans just windows, in Florida summer heat!! LOL i feel bad for him!! His day yesterday started at 5 and he didnt get back to the barracks till 10:30 ↑ |

It's illegal to cut electricity here. Can't believe they're allowed to do that over there. It's horrible that they can do that. What about those human rights you guys have?
Cable companie's and everything like that are always snotty though. To be honest I wouldn't really expect anything else from them. At the end of the day, it's a business and all they want is money.
How come he hasn't been paid yet though? That's pretty hard times. And I would be so onto TV stations and local papers definitely. ↑ |

So we got some good news today!! LOL
My Mom is a County Commissioner for Broward county, thats 2 county's away from us and she is very good friends with the like head Comcast lady which is the cable and the Head FPL lady which is our electric, and they are knocking off the $300 Late fee deposit and they are letting us break up a payment! and we are waiting to see what the cable people do, but man o man gotta Love politicians and my moma! and the funny thing is that the people told me they dont do payment plans... well it looks like they just did!
Both of the ladys felt so bad and were mad at how we got treated by their reps. LOL ↑ |

Wow, sorry I missed this post Lauren, BUT i'm glad everything is working out so far.
And companies alos try to be big bad bullies and say one thing just to get you to fork up some money. Good thing your mom stepped in. And i'm sure they have payment break up spmetimes depending on the situation.

| I'm sorry you had to go through all that stress Lauren, but at least things are turning out okay in the end. That's great that your mom was able to step in and help convince the company to work with you. In my opinion military families are not paid enough and then for them to not pay you at all is ridiculous. When my hubby was in the army they messed up 2 of his checks in a row and refused to fix it and we had to keep fighting them on it til they did. It's ridiculous. Anyways, I'm glad things are working out. ↑ |

Thanks guys! Today has been a Crap day, It started off by Tyler not sleeping at all Last night and just being crazy he finally went to bed at like 4 in the morning and was up since 1:45am.. so this morning he wont eat his breakfast and just cried in his high chair then i let him play alittle bit and a few minutes later hes trying to crawl up my leg for me to hold him, but when i pick him up he wants down.. soo i put him down and hes just pissed and tired and cranky.. so i lay him down in his crib lays there for a sec stands up get his knee caught in the bar and now wont go to sleep. so i say forget this ill go to the bank since he doesnt want to go to sleep...
I get to the bank and get an Offical check, which is a cerified check that we need to pay our old land lord for. the check is for $450 dollars and the whole time tyler is sreaming and i get to the set the check down on the floor of the car and strap him in, still screaming and go to get the check and its gone it blew away!
so now im on my hands in knees sweating in the florida sun searching for this check and i cant find it so i go back in side and they say they arent sure if they can refund it or not, so she goes let me go see if i can find it so her and a customer go out side and look for it 5 min later they walk in with it Tyler is still screaming, i put him in the car its a fight and drive home to find apache our dog on the couch when i told him right before i left stay off the couch he knows what that means.. now tyler is back in his crib screamed for about 5 minutes and now hes a sleep!! and im pissed as all hell!!
and when i was searching for the check i texted chris to tell him what i just did and how my day was going and he called me and basically said "so, how is that a bad day?" basically saying stop your bitching at this point im on the verge of tears because we dont have an extra $450 laying around to get anew check and hes being an ass!!! god what the hell is wrong with today!!! and now hes trying to be a suck up saying did i tell you that i love you today?

Next time this happens and hopefully it won't......it is illegal to cut off utilities when you have babies at home in most states so do some checking and see if that is the case and use it if needed.
