Does it hurt? im only 23 years old is the risk of the test coming back as a bad result less because of my age. ↑

There's a 1% chance of miscarriage. I haven't had it done, but I'm sure it hurts a bit. ↑

And your chances of having a baby with birth defects are very low because of your age, the older you get, the more chance you have of having a baby with birth defects. This is not to say that your baby is immune to birth defects. The chances are lessened. But are still there. Good luck with your amnio. ↑

Is this to test for Down syndrome ?? The nurse asked me if i wanted that done.. i told her No because even if i had a downs i would of kept my baby regardless. ↑

You will feel a pinch...its not that bad.I will be having my 4th one...on Jan 7th for genetic testing ↑
