Just had my prenatal appiointment and am disappointed that I now have to wait until September to have my first ultrasound. The doctor said that he would like to do the Ultrasound at 22 weeks and I will only be 19 weeks at my next appointment.

However, on a better note. Everything with the baby is doing great which makes having to wait less of an issue. I was told that I was measuring at 16 weeks instead of the 15 weeks that I am, but he said that 16 weeks was close enough to 15 weeks. So I took it as that he was not worried. I finally gained some weight, I still am not where I was when I started this pregnancy but it's kind of nice that I am actually starting to gain.

Ethansmom,
What's your due date? I thought you weren't as far along as that b/c of all the morning sickness you were writing about. By the way, has it subsided at all? I honestly only want one child; I don't think that I could deal w/ the nausea again; thank God that I don't have to deal w/ it anymore.

I'm 15 weeks, well 15 1/2 weeks. I was told at my first appointment that morning sickness should only last until 12 weeks but possible as late as 13 weeks. As of Saturday it looks as if my morning sickness has finally subsided. I still have problems with dairy unless it is cooked, so I try my best to limited that I get my calcium some place else.

My actually due date is January 13th. However, I have opted for a planned c-section this time around so I will be going in on January 5th to have my baby unless the baby decides to come sooner.

LOL...The minutes I started getting sick with this pregnancy I completely relived my pregnancy with my son. I also had sever morning sickness with him. This time however, it was worse. I was given three different medication all but one took away the feeling of being sick but never actually took away the sickness itself. When I was pregnant with my son I told my husband that I don't think I could do this again, but by the time he was 6 months I wanted another one. My husband want three kids but this time around I am not sure I could do this again. My fear is that because this time around it was worse then the first, it's going to even worse the third time around. I think I need to pray for twins....LOL

I agree Sarah M. Women who are already mothers are the best people to get advice on pregnancy and children.

hey, good thread Sarah M. I'm doing pretty good, i'm at 28 wks 5 days. I just had my prenatal appointment yesterday got my ROgam shot and the Glocose test all in one day. Feel much better now that it's over. I've finally got my big (ish) belly lol. My lil girl moves constantly..i swear she's gonna be some kinda sports star when she's older hee hee.
I'll be sticking around too after my baby is born, just not as much tho for the first while.

Yea that lil baby will take your time hehe. And let me tell you when my 2 yr old naps that will be a time to put my lil guy for a nap so I can have one as well lol. Thats cool ur starting to get your belly is always fun. I have more than a belly but its ok cause its not fat and its not anywhere else(but my boobs). My bf loves my tummy I actually thinks im sexier with my baby bumb(more like a watermelon) than not lol. Which makes me feel good cause he loves me no matter what. He has been really cuddley lately like before and after work he just wants to lye there and rub my tummy or my back. I love it hehe. Anyways hope everyone is doing good today

Name: Christina | Date: Jul 28th, 2006 3:03 PM
hee hee, yeah my bf is like that too sarah. The bigger and further along I get the more sweet he is. He's always asking if i'm ok, and wants to feel the baby, and rub my back and he's constantly there for me. It's been wonderful.
I gained alil weight in my tummy unfortunetly..i've been trying not to eat all the sweet foods, but I just can't help it. Not to mention I don't get out much, i'm kinda scared to go out byself in case anything happens to me or the baby. but i do have quite a big bumb, it's like it happened over night lol.

Well in your tummy is doesnt really count haha. But I know what you mean it just appears and your like "Where did that come from" lol. I just take at least a lil walk to the corner store or just play outside with my daughter to get a lil exercise but if I walk to much it hurts right under my tummy like a pulled something so my doc said try not to walk constantly more than 30-45min a day

Well you get to hear your lil babies heart beat then hehe so its kinda a good thing

Name: Christina | Date: Jul 28th, 2006 4:11 PM
yeah, i know it doesn't count, but it's just annoying. I'm the same I get a feeling like a pulled muscle or something if I walk for too long or if i walk too fast. I constantly have to keep telling my bf to slow down lol.

Happy Birthday to you jessie2 like sarah said atleast u get to hear your baby's heart beat on your birthday. That's an awesome feeling.

all is well here! had a dr appt yesterday and had my membranes stripped...baby is in op position (meaning face up) so I've been laying over a big exercise ball w/ my belly hanging down to try to flip the little one. Anyday now! My midwife scheduled me for a non stress test and u/s on monday so I feel like the end of this pregnancy is in sight!!

The board is so quiet today. I guess b/c it's Saturday and everyone is spending time w/ their families. My fiance has to work some saturdays so I've been waiting for him to get home. How is everyone today? I hope all is well across the world w/ you ladies. Have a great weekend!!!

Doing pretty well here, little exhausted. I even took a nap when my son and nephew took theirs and still tired. Up until 15 weeks I had morning sickness and my boobs hurt. At 14 weeks my hips started killing me so it almost impossible right now for me to find a comfortable spot. Now all of suddan I am extremely tired all of a suddan. Wasn't tired at all until now. Maybe it's because I sleep like crap at night and might get if I'm lucky an hour or two of sleep, only to have to get up at 6:20AM for my sister to drop of her son, and today he didn't want to go back to sleep and my son decided he too was going to get up.
