Not contractions - those start at the top and in your back and wrap around your entire belly and squeeze and push the baby down. The sharp shooting pains - I get those too. I think it's the baby hitting the cervix which has a lot of nerves on it. ↑ |
lmao -it shouldnt be in your VAGINA!!! feel your stomach..if it feels like its tightening with these pains..then its possible contractions
It starts off as a dull period pain at the front...not all of a sudden stabbing pain. She is probably just giving you a kick or 2 in the wrong place ↑ |
its prob just her dropping more or something.. ↑ |
Sometimes I feel it when I go from sitting to standing which is why I just assume it's her head hitting my cervix. And then when she turns her head back and forth I can feel it and it makes me want to vomit! ↑ |
Yeh sounds like the lil devil is dropping and sitting right there. What was your due date again? ↑ |
lol i still have another month to go.. im34 and a half weeks. ↑ |
People keep telling me that I've dropped, but I thought that in second or subsequent pregnancies it was unusual to drop until right before labor and delivery... I'm 35 + 2 today... ↑ |
i slowly dropped..but the day i had him i REALLY dropped ya can tell from my photos..
I had a few of those stabbing pains..maybe stand up and walk around ↑ |
I carried Sophie really low so I never noticed when I actually dropped, and now this one is low too...The good thing about it is I never get kicked in the ribs or have trouble breathing! ↑ |
oh i have had teh stabbing pains too Rosey, they hurt so much. Its usually when the baby moves!
I found that heat packs helped...yes down there..
and a nice warm bath before you go to bed. But dont put anything in it..just water. ↑ |
yeah probably baby sat on nerve but sometimes if i get vaginal shooting pain or pinchin it feels like baby trying to break waters with a lil pin! ↑ |
when i had my first son the babys head was pressing down onto my cerivx its called pubus disfunction you need to tell your midwife its no problem and will go when the babys born but i had to wear a huge stocking on my belly in order to lift him up.
normally when you have this your postioning of your birth is important i recommned kneeling bent over the bed in hospital but your midwife will explain further.dont worry its quite normal have you a big baby
nicola ↑ |
i've had them with all of my pregnancies and my doc told me that they are caused from my bones splitting apart....it feels like someone shoving a knife up your whoohaa right? atleast thats how i felt and thats what the doc told me ↑ |
oh i always find that squatting while holding onto a table or something for support helps or getting on your hads and knees and sticking you butt way up in the air with your chest lower and kinda rocking to help open up your hips ↑ |
