I am 23 weeks along now and work 8 hours a day at an engineering design firm. I sit at a desk in a cheap office chair for 95% of that time either working on the desktop or on the computer. Lately I have been noticing more and more pain in my lower back. Does anybody have any suggestions for lessening or eliminating the back pain that I am experiencing? Are there any office chairs that you have run across that have better support? Or are there any types of cushions you would recommend to add to my chair? Anything would be helpful because it's getting old fast :(

When I was working I actually brought a pillow to work. The cause of your back pain is probably your sciatic nerve. As your uterus continues to grow your back will take on more weight and pressure.

prenatal yoga is a great way to strengthen your back muscles and at the same time stretch them. It also will help w/ breathing tecniques that can assist you in delivery. If you don't have a class nearby, I would recommed buying a tape. It really helps!!
