Well the lady showed where it said 6 weeks 3 days from my last period.. do I add 2 weeks prior to that for a due date? She wouldnt tell me anything we just happen to see what the u/s showed. She said the u/s is from the last day Of my missed period but was reading that dr's go by 2 weeks prior to that. SO is the u/s age of fetus and does the dr go by gestastional age? So Am I 6 weeks 3 days or 8 weeks 3 days? LOL OH and the heartbeat was 127 :)

You are 6 wks 3 days....the docs count 2 weeks before your conception date which is normally the date of your LMP and include that into your due date, so at two weeks, you are not even pregnant yet, you are getting ready to ovulate... then when you ovulate, two weeks after that, you can be tested and the HCG hormone will show up... even though you are truely only 2 weeks pregnant, you are charted at 4 weeks.

yes lori youre right you are 6 weeks preg and the baby is 4 weeks old, but most information and books and websites will go by the LMP or 6 week date.

Awww excellent,
im really happy it went well,
thats great lori, your due date will most probably change, its more accurate at the 20th week u/s when baby is due, but its 6 weeks plus 3 days, they already have added the 2 weeks prior,
congrats now just enoy and God bless
