Ok i have a question, you all know that you urinate or feel the need to go to the toilet alot during your pregnancy.
Im 31 weeks at the moment, and i mean i NEED to go to the toilet all the time, but only little dribs and drabs come out.. I'm kinda worried that maybe im not drinking enough water? or its all just getting used up

I'm so sorry if this is a stupid question! i was just wondering.
I do drink a fair bit of liquard throughout the day and close to 2 litres of water a day...just wanted to see what you guys thought!

well, i have had three babies. as far as i know, the reason you have to go so often, yet there is barely any urine is because the baby is squishing your bladder so flat that it can barely hold anything. i used to run to the toilet like i was going to pee my pants, just to have a few dribbles come out too.

According to the doctor I work with, and the hospital OB staff a pregnant woman NEEDS to drink at least 1 gallon of water a day. If she doesn't she can have problems from dehydration such as contractions too soon. So maybe if you increase your water intake you'll actually go when you go.

Same thing is going on with me and I am 29 weeks. I sometime I wondering if it even pays to go...LOL. The bigger the baby gets the more pressure that is on your bladder. I am sure that you are most likely drinking enough. I am constantly drinking something and still only go a small amount at a time if any. I think between the baby and me drinking so much I should just stay in the bathroom. I too also was tested for a Urinary Track infection as well as a bladder infection because I am having some cramping but all came back normal.

As long as you do not have any discomfort such as pain of pressure when you go to the bathroom you can pretty much assume it just the baby laying on your bladder. When I went into labor with my son I had called the nurse to tell her that I didn't feel right. That I was constantly running to the bathroom and when I was done I would have a little bit of pain. Well she wanted to push this off as me having a bladder infection. I was so made at her that I actually started to yell at her telling her that she is not listening, that I know this is not a bladder infection because I have had bladder infections in the past and that it did not hurt while I was going it hurt when I was done. Went in, the doctor asked my husband how far apart my contraction where and he told them he did not know. Both the nurse and the doctor looked at us like we were crazy and said, "How do you not know." My husband said, "Because she not in labor." Turned out my contraction were 3 minutes apart and I'll I knew was that I just didn't feel right and was uncomfortable only after I went to the bathroom.

I've been having the same thing for weeks. Sometimes in the middle of the night I get so frustrated because I know if I get up I'll only pee for a second... but I have to anyhow.

A while ago we went camping... on an island... for 3 days... and there was the nastiest "vault toilet" in the entire world. It was hell. The toilet doesn't even get emptied like a port-a-potty.. it just goes in a giant hole... and I was still having morning sickness. Even though we were camping with 50 or so other people I finally just said "Screw this.. I'm going in the woods every 30 minutes instead!" Just thinking about it is making me sick.

Before pregnancy I used to use the bathroom only twice a day, now I am running to it nearly 7-8 times and it drives me insane! My doctor says it's normal because the baby is resting on your bladder (doesn't seem like a comfortable place to be resting! X_X! ).

It has gotten better for me, but I am 19.5 weeks now. I am sure that it is going to go back to being bad again. The problem I have now is control. If I have a hard cough or sneeze then i tinkle a bit LOL
