Hi. I am 7 weeks pregnant and have been on bedrest for the past 2 weeks. I have had 2 sonograms and they are able to see the baby and it is growing well. We even heard and saw the heartbeat yesterday. The problem is there is some blood in my uterus. It is seperate from the baby, but over the past 2 weeks it has not gotten any smaller. I am just wondering if anyone else has gone through this. They have not called it a name so it is hard for me to research it. This is my first pregnancy too so I really don't even know what questions to ask the doc. Any advise would be appreciated. Thanks so much

I don't know a lot about blood in the uterus, but you mentioned that it hasn't shrunk, has it stayed the same? That could be a good sign that it didn't grow more. Are you scheduled for another us? Follow your doc's orders and try not to worry. He told you the baby looked good and you saw a heartbeat so you have more positives compared to 1 possible negative. Sorry I couldn't offer more help. God bless and be strong. And congrats on your pregnancy!

I had my second us yesterday. The blood has stayed the same, not any bigger or smaller. The doc said they would like to see it decrease before I start moving around again

I know it's hard not to worry, but all sounds promising. The biggest being it hasn't grown. When will you go in for another us?

I had some blood in my uterus, but my dr said that it was a small bleed and prob was nothing. She said to let her know if I had any spotting though, but none of the blood ever came out so I guess that is a good sign. weeks later at my next us they couldn't see it anymore. I guess that it is common, but your dr prob wants to be extra careful until it goes away and that is a good thing. Stay positive ok.
