If you don't at least try to burp her after she has been fed she could spit up on you or throw up all over you and the area you are sitting at. That happend to me. It's not throw up but he spewed everywhere. SORRY FOR DETAILS BUT.....anyways. I don't know if it can cause colic because my son was never colicky. ↑ |
If you don't burp, the baby could get a tummy ache from being gassy. I had a hard time burping my son, but what usually worked is hold him under the armpits straight up. And very slowly moving him up and down. I usually got a burp from him even when he was asleep that way. ↑ |
you dont have to all the time. If she falls asleep, let her sleep. When she wakes up, she'll burp. She might even get up and cry so that you can burp her and then fall back asleep. I hope everything goes ok with you! i think she'll be fine. She'll let you know. ↑ |
the baby will burp in it's sleep don't worry. Just prop him/her up on your shoulder and it'll come out :) ↑ |
i have a question... i am thinking about breast feeding but not too sure about it at this point.. but when u feed a baby from a bottle you burp them every 2 onces when they are younger so when u are breast feeding how do u know when its time to burp them? ↑ |
you burp them after each breast. At least that is what I have been told by breastfeeders. ↑ |
