Anybody try castor oil to induce and not get diarrea?
I tried 1 1/2 oz. at like 6 hours ago and only thing that happended is a puked my dinner @ like 7:30 ↓

| castor oil is a laxative. that's what it's main purpose is, that's what it is sold as. so it's safe to say that when you take it, you're going to get some sort of a reaction with your bowels. ↑ |

| haha... I did castor oil a few days ago! Whatever to SaRaH, it must be nice to keep waiting and waiting.... but my original due date was November 18th. Then I went over, then they did an ultrasound.. then they pushed me back to the 28th... Here we are on the seventh. Hes over eight lbs and I KNOW hes ready... (His Dad does everything at the last minute too, so Its not his fault he got those genes, we'll work on that after hes born).... but I didn't vomit, just sat on the pot for a million hours. The funny thing is while I was on the pot, I was no longer as grumpy as I have beeen for the past three weeks. :) Sort of not in the mood to push right now... and therefore not as impatient for labor ↑ |

Castor oil is nasty, you would not want to go into labour while havoing diahreah and pucking would you?????

| lol mizz.......I tried it w/ my first to w/ a fleet enema on top of it and when I finally thought I was all done being sick I took a walk......NOT GOOD!!!! All I can say is thank God I took my walks around midnight w/ my mother in the cool, and thank God ppl water their grass late at night!!!!!!!!!!! Evan worse absolutley No Results at all not even a 1/2cm and I was 41 wks. You couldn't pay me a million to drink that stuff again I even gag thinking about it.....try to envision swallowing snot!!!! ↑ |

Yes, but i think doing something to force birth like that is a little bit more severe in my books.
I would feel WAY too guilty to go and do something like that. And by the looks of this i guess i'm the only one who feels this way! ↑ |

| chill ladies. everyone feels differently about this so it is what it is. to each their own right. Besides sometimes desperate times call for desperate measures. it is not any different them trying any of the other old tricks like sex walking hot baths tea what ever. Not personaly for me, btu then again I have never been 41 weeks pregnant so if I were I can't say that I wouldn't try something. None of us can say unless we are or have been in the situation. ↑ |

| well i triede castor oil when i was 39 weeks pregnant,i drank it on dec 30th/07 at 930 pm and started getting mild contactions at 1130 when to the hospital 330am dec 31st had my daughter at 844am so it does work. my water broke and i had my daughter 14 minutes later. ↑ |
