i was NAUSEAS when i was 8cm dilated.. and in full blown labour.. and vomited everywhere..
No i dont think it makes you feel like you need to use the rest room.. unless your period pains feels like that ? cause mine dont .... ↑

to me contractions felt like really bad gas pains, like you needed to go to the bathroom and was conspitated. mine would start from the sides of my stomach and shoot into my belly button area. ↑

Actually, mine didnt feel like period cramps. It's hard to describe but if I had to picture what they feel like, I would picture all the muscles in my lower stomach grouping together and moving DOWN. I had an epidural before my contractions got too painful, so I am sure it's much worse. At the end, before my c-section the contractions were so strong I could feel them through the epidural - and the epidural hadn't been lowered! ↑
