I am due October 17th, 2010 with my first child. We are having a baby boy. We have been trying for four years to have a child with no success and help from a fertility Dr. I decided I wasn't going to focus on it anymore...................if it happened then it happened. I had been dieting and lost 45 lbs and was feeling great. All of a sudden I was starting to feel sluggish and tied all the time so I assumed my thyroid levels were low as I am on thyroid medication. My Dr. checked my levels and called me a couple days after and said my levels were fine although I was 7 weeks pregnant. I had absolutely NO idea. I never missed my period and I wasn't gaining weight although, I wasn't losing any either, even though I was still on my diet.............my diet Dr. was getting upset with me and telling me I was cheating.................which I wasn't although I was having some really bad cravings. I still have look at myself in the mirror sometimes to believe this is actually happening......................I am so excited about becoming a mommy.

So I am 26 weeks pregnant and enjoying it now that people can actually tell I am pregnant and not just getting fat. With that being said, I am starting to find it really uncomfortable to get around and walk up and down the stairs...........and sleep. I am getting no sleep and can't sleep during the day because I am not used to it, so I try to take a nap and I just end up laying there. I really enjoy feeling my little guy kick and/or punch too.

I hope you are enjoying your pregnancy and all the side effects that go along. :) Take care.
