Due Jun 12, for me she hasn't dropped, I haven't been getting contractions, but I have had the sharp pains. Sh is getting so big the muscles are hurting to hold her up I think. My legs are starting to drive me crazy too. Also I have read some people especially with their second child never drop. ↑ |
hello, dont worry, my babies did not drop at all when i was pregnant, i had alot of contractions, and pain in my belly, i think you have nothing to worry about. just be happy, and anxious for you new baby. ↑ |
Hey Cassandra. Melissa is correct. Not all babies drop. Some wait until you are in active labour before descending. No worries there. ↑ |

dont worry that the baby didnt drop yet some babies dont drop until the day you deliver ↑ |
This is a little different from what you are talking about, but with my first pregnancy, my baby dropped around 34 weeks. He was much lower and the Dr. commented that he was almost engaged, just a little further to go. She really thought I would go early, I was having lots of contractions and was told to take it easy for the next few weeks. You could see his head bulging down in my pelvis, it was so weird! The next week I noticed it felt better, not much pressure. Turns out at my 36 week checkup my son had back up and turned breech! My Dr. was surprised, she felt my belly and I asked her if it was possible that he moved. She said babies just don't "undrop" but mine did! Little stinker! We battled that till I was a good week and a half overdue and finally I was induced (my son turned back and forth till 38 weeks then stayed vertex.) So don't worry if your baby doesn't drop yet, apparently they all have their own agenda, and mine dropping at 34 weeks obviously didn't mean he was coming soon. ↑ |
