Good morning! How is everybody doing today? Staying warm? It's about 1 degree outside here today, probably about -10 with the windchill. It's freeeeeezing. I don't really have much to do at work today, so I might be on a lot, but my boss is in the office today so I'll have to at least try to look productive... blah!

I think right now I'd trade the cold weather for non-stop raining, but I'm sure I'd sick of that and start complaining after a couple of days. Haha. I'm just freezing cold right now and I'm inside! I can't imagine how my husband is feeling. He works outside on a job site. He said they sent all the construction workers home this morning because it was too cold, but for some lame reason the engineers have to stay all day long. They aren't even doing anything. They are just all huddled together around the heater trying to stay warm waiting until it's quitting time. Ridiculous. It was just so depressing to get in my car this morning and see that the dashboard said it was 1F outside!

Your poor husband.

Well in the state that I live in, in Australia there has been rain and flooding and food supplied havent been able to reach half the state. Our local supermarket ran out of basics on Saturday, and the next truck to come in will be on Friday (if it can get through). I would prefer the cold, it would mean nicer meals.

Oh yeah, that doesn't sound good at all. It's just cold here. I went out last Friday and bought groceries to last us 2 full weeks though, just in case we got lots of snow and I couldn't go out. Do you have enough supplies at your house or are you waiting for the grocery to get restocked? I bet that store is going to be crazy once they finally get their next truck in.

Yeah we will have enough, I just hope that the trucks will be able to come in. We also have losts of canned goods and we put milk in the freezer. It is just that there is no bread, milk, fresh fruit and vegetables, meat, chicken etc at the supermarket so thats a real inconvenience. We bought and froze enough but we will need to get more stuff soon.
