Most women will tell you that they knew early on what sex their baby would be. I know I always felt that too. I was accurate except for one pregnancy, which I think had to do with more of wanting to please my husband with a second son so I was hoping for a boy. When the u/s showed a girl I was disappointed for about a half a second (mostly for him) but then I was thrilled to bits. But since then I've wondered just how "on" most of us are when it comes to deciphering the sex of our child.

I thought for sure that this time I'd be having a girl... but the ultrasound proved otherwise. Another boy it is. Now I'm just wishing I wouldn't have sold all my baby stuff in a yard sale last year.

I was dead on with 2 of my 3 kids. The third one I WANTED to be a boy and the person who did the U/S said boy...so when my daughter was born I hadn't even thought of a girl name :)

I have read an article that said that a mother is usually 70% right about the gender of her baby. I knew 100% with my first child that I was having a boy. This time I am not really sure. I feel that it's a boy but there is a little part of me that thinks it's a girl.

I knew for certain that I was having a little girl, and the u/s confirmed that I was. Although, there is that 10% chance that the u/s got it wrong. Going back to my great great grandmother, the first born has always been a girl.

With mine I knew 100% it was a boy from the moment I found out I was pregnant, I opted not to find out the sex and when he was born yep I was right!
