Im 36+2 along && our baby boys due on easter sunday.. April 8th. Id reallyy love for him to be here a little before that way hes here on easter day.. is there anything anyones tried before that has actualy worked to help you go into earlier labor? ↓

the only thing i can say which is save and not a bad way is try having sex usually they say that works, it worked 4 me not that i wonted it, as i was only 34 wks

| even when people "think" that something has worked it usually ends up just being a fluke. They would have gone into labor anyway. There are some things that are proven to make you uterus contract such as dehydration, nipple stimulation etc... but these contractions will not always equal labor and can be quite painful. You suffer through them and they end up doing nothing to your cervix ↑ |

| Yea i no what u mean jillw, but thay also say semon does the same but if this is an easy thing we would be thinkin about sex from the minute the pregnancy gets 2 much for us, lol.... i just hope 2 not av this 1 as early as i wont a midwife led delivery hopefully a water birth aswell, and i can not av this if i go early ↑ |

| one more thing...you shouldn't even concider trying to make your self go early. Your dr can be off by 2 weeks on you due date and you wnat to be sure that the babies lungs are ready for the outside world. You should not even think of doing anything until you are 40 weeks. There will be a pleanty more easters for you to share with you baby if he does not make it here in time on his own. ↑ |

| sperm contains a very small anoutn to the drug oxytocin(sp) which helps to soften the cervix and the contractions from orgaism can also help, but sperm it slef even by the gallon is not enough to put you in labor if your body was not already headed in that direction. ↑ |

| I dont think you want your baby to come early, I had my little guy 4 weeks early and he had to be in the hosptial for a week because he was so little, just let nature take its course you want them to be ready to come. It was so hard to have to visit him in the hosptial and not take him home. ↑ |

| I was dialated to 3 and wanted so bad to just have my baby and tried walking forever (which makes a 9 month pregnant woman very tired), I tried eating pinneapple, sex....all the stuff that can't hurt the baby and I still had to be induced by the doc.! So in other words your baby will come when its ready....there is no way to induce besides medically and sometimes that doesnt even work! lol.....just have patience and it will all be worth it....besides at least if your son isn't here by easter than you can get a full nights sleep to enjoy easter,lol....my daughter is almost 6 weeks old and I have barely slept the whole time since shes been here....but the first couple weeks are the roughest... ↑ |

Labour begins as a hormonal response, probably to triggers from the baby's adrenal gland. This prompts your uterus to start contracting; your water may break before this, or afterwards - every birth is different.
There is very little you can do in order to start this process off by yourself. It'll happen when it's good and ready. ↑ |

| there is no way..and even if there was it is really not good for baby to come earlier than he/she is supposed to. wouldnt you rather he be completly ready for life outside the womb and not be selfish and have him come early cause you want him to be here for easter...psh ↑ |
