| Im really confussed and don't know what to do. I'm 37 weeks along and stating to dialate and i went out shopping last night hopeing that if i walk around allot then ill go in to labor. This morning when I woke up and when to the bathroom I had a big chunk of mucas with a tenge of blood. and ive been having that all day.and know i have like the worse back pain ever and sometimes it gets like super bad then gets a little better. and maybe every 5 - 10 mins im getting this stinging pain in my pelvic area. and i want to call my doctor but everytime i do she always just says go to the er. and i have a 2 year old and a husband who hates when i have false alarms so i dont know what to do. someone please help. ↑ |
| Maybe the mucus could have been the "mucus plug"? This is my 3rd pregnancy, and I am still confused by the plug thing. I am 39 weeks along, and yesterday I had terrible back pain, and thought maybe something was going to happen, but nothing. The only for sure way to really really know you are going I guess is the water breaking. But then again, my grandma had 6 kids, and the first 5 the water never broke, they did it when she got to the hospital. I get nervous about the false alarm thing too. ↑ |
| I'm in labor too (i'm 34 weeks) about a five bounder (3cm dilated 90% effaced) i'm doing without it too but i have a breech baby. congrats! ↑ |
| I acutally have a question. I am due to have my second child, the first one I was induced 3 weeks early, so I am actually new at this...considering that I am due this Sunday the 17th of July. I only notice having to go the restroom about every 10 minutes...the urge of course, comes along about every 2 minutes though. I am anxious to see my son. My husband is too. I have not had any false alarms. I am 39 1/2 weeks along...I walk like crazy...about a total of 3 miles a day...with plenty of rest time. Does anyone have any idea, how much longer until the labor time should start...or what is normal in second and third birth experiences? ↑ |

| Hello all! Im due Aug 8th...today at my appmt I was 2 cm dilated and 75% efaced...Dr said, Go ahead and make another appmt for next week but the baby will probably come between now and then...I hope he's right! Ive been hoping that she comes ASAP...Im scared that she will be late..my body is not taking it so well anymore...cross your fingers! ↑ |
