It is a boy. I know i said I wanted a girl really bad, cause I did, but after I was done crying (yes, I cried when the nurse told me it was a boy!), I realized there were actually a whole lot of perks to having another boy. The boy I have now, was only born one month before this baby is supposed to be born, and we kept EVERYTHING. So, all the clothes are in season for this babys due date. Also, since we didn't get rid of anything, we need to worry about purchasing nothing. cause we already have all that we need. SOO much time and stress will be saved that way. Not to mention money. lol. All we really need to make sure we get is diapers and wipes. A friend of mine told me she would throw me a "diapers and wipes" shower to start me off with, so that'll be nice.
Oh, sorry about not posting sooner, I know my ultrasound was Thursday, but I had a VERY ill toddler at home, and couldn't really make it to the computer. But, now you all know, so I will sign off now.

Aw no! Boys are great! Your son will be DELIGHTED when he hears he's having a brother, and they'll probably get along better than they would if this baby had been a girl. They'll like the same things etc. Congrats on your beautiful new son!

Oh! And I've kept everything of Joey's in case we have another boy too. And in a way, I think I'd prefer to have another boy for that reason!

Thanks Briseis, but I'm not upset anymore. Like I said above, I was upset when the nurse told me, but it didn't take me very long to get over it and realize that there were alot of reasons to be happy about it. Lke, above, I said I've kept everything anyway, and all the clothes are in season for this baby's due date. Plus, I spoke to some friends of mine who have both boys and girls, and EVERYONE of them said no matter what, the boy was ALWAYS the easiest. They weren't as whiny, didn't produce as much drama when they were mad, if they fall and got hurt, they got over it MUCH quicker than their girl did. Plus, if you were in a hurry to get out the door for an appointment, you don't have to worry about the girls hair being a mess if you don't have time to do hair, cause my boys will always have short hair. Oh, I was also told that the "cutesy" stage with girls, where they wear lots of pink ribbons, and fluffy dresses, etc, only lasts so long anyway, then they form their own opinions about life. LOL. Also, I understand two boys will have sibling rivalry, but I do believe that the rivalry would be much worse if the baby did turn out to be a girl. So, now I I'm just happy that they found nothing wrong with him and they he will be born perfect, just like the other one.

i understand your reaction. when i was pregnant with gracie....emma was only a few months old and i found out i was pregnant again....needless to say i was not thrilled AT ALL to be pregnant again. but i thought well, hopefully it will be a boy at least because me and my husband had always wanted a boy...never wanted a girl lol...then we found it she was a girl....it took a few minutes for it to really sink in that she was a she lol but now i'm sooooo glad that she was a girl! my girl were born a year apart so that have always been able to pass down clothes perfectly which has saved us soooo much money! and even though they fight all the time (that happens when they are close in age and like all of the same things...they fight over thoughs things lol) they are still best friends and always have someone to play with.

I know a little about how you felt. I thought I was having a girl and almost cried when I went to look at baby clothes after I found out that I was having a boy. I'm over it now and am thrilled.
