how far along are you?
im excited!!! im scared about breastfeeding. i am fixing to be 35 weeks...
i made a birthplan of what i would like them to do while im in labor. that way they go by what you want but they also walk you through everything.

Labor is actually a great experience. My advice to you would be to enjoy the early stages though, because, i'm not going to lie, it gets painful. I've been through three deliveries without any pain medication and its really only because my labor progressed so quickly that by the time I asked for any it was too late. So that is something to consider too. If you plan on having any pain meds make sure you do it early on. I First time labors tend to take a little longer than 2nd or 3rd(and so on). My first labor lasted for about 10 hrs which isnt bad for a first timer but I pushed for over 2 and a half hours.(that stunk) Just go with it and se how you feel and go for the epidural if need be:) good luck!

babe its gonna hurt, more or less than others but it will. So make sure u discuss the painkiller options with your doctor and/or hospital ahead of time. I don't mean to scare you but i don't wanna lie. I've been through 2 deliveries and one more on the way, i'm worried too, cuz i've already been through 2 and it hurt, i didnt have medications either time cuz they lied saying they offer it but actually didn't offer it in those hospitals, this time i'll choose another hospital. Hey and by the way its better to have someone special around, being alone is the worst, it makes you concentrate on the pain, it can be the baby's father, your mother sister or good friend, anyone you'll be able to feel comfortable with. Good luck,
hey just enjoy being pregnant for now.

breastfeeding is not scaring if you do it right and take care of your breast(nipple area especially), buy a soothing cream and take it to hospital, preventing is better than treating cracked and sore nipples. Hey and one more thing, even though some specialists suggest that feeding on demand(when baby is hungry) is better than feeding by schedual, its not the best for your nerves and health. Get the baby disciplined from minute one, trust me, i made this mistake twice, and ended up with sleepless nights.
One more thing buy some good book about babycare and learn as much as you can about caring for new baby before the baby arrives, cuz then trust me there will be no time.
Good Luck
