So this morning, I cut up myself a delicious tomato, (my prego craving) and begin to eat it, and with the very first bite, as soon as I swallow it, my chest starts to burn as it is going down!! So, I take a few more bites, just to make sure I wasn't imagining things, and it happens again. Ok, people, you may not think that is a big deal, and is a "normal" part of prego, BUT, I've had a difficult enough time with this prego as it is. I know none of you know this, but I was in the hospital for 8 days back in March for a blood clot that went from my groin area, clear down almost to my ankle. I couldn't walk at all for about 2 weeks, and then for about 2 more weeks when I could walk, I was in pain doing so, and couldn't hardly stand or walk for longer than 15-20 mins. Permanent (or so they say) swelling is most likely part of the deal also. Praying that is not the case of course. Yes, my left leg may be permanently swollen due to internal damage done by the blood clot. Apparently, no matter how old and healthy you are, when you become prego, you are automatically at risk at developing a blood clot somewhere in your body, because of the increased blood volume and hormone changes. Well, now I have to give myself shots 2 times per day till six weeks after the baby is born. (Bloodthinners that are safe during pregnancy.) So, now, not only do I have to deal with the aftermath of the bloodclot, but now I can't even eat a freakin' tomato without having heartburn? GGGRRRR!! I'm actually pretty upset, cause I've been through a hell of enough!

Avoid things like meat pies and real greasy foods.
