I'm 23 yrs old and have two girls, 2 and 3 yrs old. I had a tubal (cut) 2 yrs. ago. I am 10 days late for my period and i think i had what's called implantation bleeding at mid-cycle, more than 3 weeks ago. Only for 2 days and it was brown and pinkish. (first time in my life i have spotted) well i took a pregnancy test a week ago and it was negative, then i took one yesterday and it was negative but when i saw it this morning there was a very faint purple line. Could this mean that I may be pregnant? I'm scared. Please e-mail me if this has happened to you or if you know about it. Thanks

I am not sure what you meant when you said "when I saw it this morning", if it was last nights test you can not intrepret the results in the morning. The line you saw was an evaporation line, you must read the test with in 10 minutes or whatever the box says. Take another test first thing in the morning and read the results right away, and then let us know what happens. BTW are you on BC?

Hi Denise thanks for replying.

"when I saw it this morning" yes i was i talking about last nights test. Thank you for that info. I didn't know about the evaporation line. I will take another test Monday morning. I will keep you posted. What is BTW?

i guess i didn't really understand your response... when you said you had your tubes cut, do you mean ligation or tied. i have never heard it called "cut" (typing 1 handed, sorry for grammar) i guess it really doesn't matter but you were only 21?? i hope everything works out for you, keep us posted

Hi Denise,

I refer to it as tubal cut so that people can understand that they were cut and and not tied. the doctor actually showed me the 2 pieces of fallopian tube. He said he cut them big so i wouldn't get pregnant. If i say i had a tubal ligation people may not understand the exact process. I'm feeling so tired and have sore breasts. I also had nausea this morning.

So is there any chance you can get pregnant Sandra? If they cut do they burn it too or just make a cut? I didn't know they would do that at your age since you are so young. I was surprised my friend got one done at 28. If I were you I would be calling the Dr. ASAP just in case. You could be at high risk for an ectopic pregnancy, or it could be something else too. Hope it gets better and you get some answers too. I can't imagine how busy you must be too on top of this all. I have a 2 1/2 year old and one on the way, and mine little guy keeps me running.

There is a chance of getting pregnant, i think 1 in 10,000. The younger you are the higher are the chances. The tubes can actually grow back. I got them cut and burned but still they can grow. It has happened. I got a tubal at 21yrs. because i got pregnant with my second baby with an IUD, 3 months after i had my first baby. So I had both babies the same year in 2003, one in 1/10/03 and the other in 12/5/03. I also had c-sections so that was risky. I actually cried to my Gyn to give me the paper so that i would have a tubal and she gave me that paper. She even told me that is wasn't 100% and that she has had 3 woman in the past 10 years that have gotten pregnant after their tubal. That sucks! God i hope i'm not pregnant. I'm not ready for another one.

sorry, the chance of getting pregnant after a tubal is less than 1 in 100. I got pregnant with my 2nd baby with an IUD and the chances for that are 1 in 1000. How lucky am I?

I took 2 clear blue pregnancy test this morning, "couldn't wait till tomorrow" and both negative. If i'm not pregnant, i just want to get my period! Well i will go to the doctor tomorrow to get a blood test done.

Wow, that's got to be rough on you Sandra. I thought I was caught off guard getting pregnant on the pill. Turns out it happened to my my too. My Dr. told me it just isn't 100% and for some people they are more likely to have something like that happen. I hope you find out soon what's going on, let us know how it goes and take care.

well today i have some spotting but it doesn't look like my regular period, I looks red and is very little. It's also a watery discharge. My breast are still sore. Someone know what's happening? Now I don't know if i should go to the doctor!

SAndra, I would definitely call your Dr. and tell the nurse what's going on. I'm sure they would want to see you. If you are pregnant they need to find out ASAP and if not something else is going on. Good luck, I hope everything is okay.

I'm a week late, but have had symptoms for over 2 weeks...Patience is not a vurtue! lol...its more like God grant me patience...NOW!haha well, best of luck to you!! =)

Hi everyone, I still think i'm pregnant. I got my "period" but only lasted 2 days when it normally lasts 5 days. The first day it was very little then the second day was very watery, then i had some brown spots (kind of like dry blood). It was weird. My breast are still sore and i have morning sickness all day long. I guess i'm going to wait for my next period to see what happens. I will keep you posted.

Sandra, I hope you find out soon, especially if you are at high risk for tubal. Have you been in to see your Dr. yet? I would defintiely call them and tell them what's going on, it's so much better to be safe. I hope you find out soon and are doing okay.
