I think I remember reading in another post that you were going back to the doctor this week sometime and just wanted to see how it went and how you were feeling.

I am so sorry I haven't been in touch. I wasn't going to go into the doctor last Tuesday as the bleeding stopped on Sunday and I was fairly confident nothing was wrong (nurses are really bad about going to the doctor :)). Unfortuntately, my little niece passed away on Monday morning which meant I had to fly to Canada, and my family wanted to make absolutely sure nothing was wrong before I flew out (they were all worried about a repeat ectopic).

Alas, to make a long story short, after scaring the heck out of me because my bladder was full and the doctor thought the baby was outside the uterus...he had me pee and voila, there it was right were it should be and we saw the heart flicker! It was fabulous and we were able to head off to Canada with no worries about it being ectopic.

I have still had some bleeding but it's occassional and not bad at all...cramping a little, but I'm not concerned. Thanks all for your thoughts and I'll try to get on a little more.

Awww thanks Nikki, I am very sad about my niece. It's so hard to be excited about the pregnancy when the rest of my family is going thru such harsh times. Eventually things will get better for them tho. I keep them and my niece in my thoughts daily and I hope they find some peace soon. Thanks for your email, I just got it. You're so sweet to be thinking about me.

Hiya Coart - no I don't mind. We found out when Claire was 3.5 years old she had one of the rarest forms of Leukemia, that was about 14 months ago. They found a bone marrow match for her and after much pain and many surgeries, we thought she was on her way to recovery. Alas, she relapsed a few months ago and the doctors said they wouldn't retry the transplant since she relapsed so soon after the first one. My brother and s-i-l tried many alternative therapies, but nothing worked in the end. We are all so sad to have such a wonderful little soul pass away, but I know she is happier and in no pain now. I miss her though :(
