How many Moms are planning on playing classical music when there baby goes to sleep...I for one am not sure...My oldest sister had her first baby and played music by Enya very soothing...Well, she said she would Never do it again b.c her son wouldn't take naps any where unless he had the same exact music..
But, I do think music sooths them and stimulates the brain.
I don't know, I do want my baby to take naps at other peoples houses..so im lost.

I get sick of listening to the same thing so I just put a deifferent CD in. He doesn't listen to music during naps b/c I am making noise around the house. Just at night when it's bedtime. Classical music won't do it for him though. He listens to whatever we do. ↑ |

When my Dad was still here [R.I.P.] he used to play Elvis constantly.
Every time I went over there it was always on.
But that was in the early stages of the pregnancy...So I dunno if that counts. Lol.
If I was going to have background music I'd play Elvis too or Frank Sinatra.

| Can't we all just get along? I got this attachment for the crib that plays lullabies as well as mimics a heartbeat and plays ocean waves. You can set it to only run for a little bit. It's also voice activitated so if the baby starts crying it comes on to try to soothe. My friend swears by it so am going to give it a shot. ↑ |
