I was looking through the newspaper today and found a group in my town for new moms. I called the contact number and got a really nice woman who talked to me for a while and I told her my story - she said that the group meets on Tuesdays right up the street from my house, and is for babies-toddlers. She said I should go up there now and just meet some of the moms before I have the baby... but I'm really nervous!
What if they don't like me? Or if nobody talks to me? Or if they're all older and snobby?
The woman who I talked to said her youngest is now to old for the group - so she doesn't go herself.... so that's out. She did say she'd meet me for coffee just to talk about babies and for something to do.
Anyone have any experience with mom's groups? Or any advice? I feel silly for being scared to go.... but I can't get over it! ↓
