Good morning ladies! It's been so quiet on here lately. Not that I'm on much either lol! Well, I've officially started having BH yesterday - it was like deja vu from last time with Sophie. It took me a little bit to realize what it was...And today we're spending the day cooking for Passover. What's everyone else up to?? ↓

i am online talking to my husband...everything here is quiet..my sister is coming to visit me wednesday i am excited ↑ |
Awww...that's nice that you get to talk to him. We're on our way to the grocery to get the rest of what we need to cook today!! I hope more people have checked in by the time we get back! ↑ |
have fun at the store!! ↑ |
How is it going? I just went out to get snow off of our satellite dish and it's windy, so a huge million lb chunk of snow smoke me in the head. It was pretty funny. ↑ |
*smoked me in the head. ↑ |
Oh wow that sounds like fun ↑ |
What are you up to today? ↑ |
nothing much...i am feeling nauseous today....and i getting things ready for my sister to come into town...you? ↑ |
Kaden is still not feeling too great. I am just doing laundry and dishes I guess. ↑ |
hope he feels better soon ↑ |
Hey ladies, I'm back! Passover goodies and an easter basket for Sophie. Boy it's fun being an interfaith family haha!
Randi - I can't believe it snows there in April! It's in the high 80s here. I can't wait for my mom to get her pool ready. ↑ |
oh your interfaith..thats cool...i bet that can be fun but hard at times? ↑ |
Does it confuse the kids? How cool!!! Even more reason to celebrate... ↑ |
Well Sophie is only 10 months, so I don't think she really cares yet. But she'll primarily be raised Jewish. I take her to Shabbat services for the kids and we do all of the holidays. Andy was raised Baptist but he doesn't really observe, but he still wanted to share the holiday traditions that he grew up with so... we talked about it a lot when I was pregnant and at first we thought we would just figure it out as we went along, but then we decided we'd better clarifty now what it is we want to pass on, or you're right - it would get confusing - for all of us!! ↑ |
well i think its good that you could agree on things!! ↑ |
Did your family have problems with you marrying a baptist? My husband and I believe differently (though we are both Christian) and my family gave me a really hard time. Things are better now, though. I was just wondering. ↑ |
No, my family loves my husband. They did ask how we were going to raise our children, since in the Jewish religion the children are legally the religion of the mother. But noone could say anything - my mother is remarried to a non-Jewish person and my father is in a long-term relationship with a woman who does not practice any religion. ↑ |
bh fun! lol hi mara! im sad i missed when you were online. wednesday we are coloring eggs for the easter egg hunt at church i cant wait my nephew loves it :) ↑ |
Awww - Nikki! I'm sorry I missed you too! We're never on at the same time anymore:( And now I gotta go put Sophie down for her nap:) ↑ |
i would have been on but i got the urge to clean lol and when that happens i dont ignore it because those urges are few and far between ↑ |
