Hi there. I'm 18, and on April 8th, my boyfriend and I had unprotected sex (stupid of me, I realize). It was literally a day or so right after my period ended, which I know is kind of a rare time to get pregnant in, but it's May 15th now, and my last period began on April 2nd. Although my cycle is sometimes irregular, it's usually never more than a week off. About a week ago, I had some cramps and light spotting, but nothing more than that. I've been very tired lately, also.
I took a pregnancy test on Friday afternoon and it came back negative...but some part of me thinks it may have been a false negative because not only did I take the test in the afternoon when my hormones were lower, but it wasn't the greatest brand.
Anyways...I just wanted to know...does it sound like I may be pregnant? ↓

i am going through somewhat of the same problem.
i just missed my first period, ever. i'm trying to find out if it always means you're pregnant, ya know? but.. i am just as confused as you are! i wish we could help one another. i think i'm pregnant, but my only sign is missed period right now. i am having semi-frequent urinations, but nothing major. i am not having any other signs though. ya know? i'm just scared, are you? ↑ |

I've had the semi-frequent urination thing too. And yeah, I'm def. confused and worried.
Well...only worried because my parents will disown me, haha. But my boyfriend is older and a wonderful guy and I know he'd be there for me. ↑ |

i have only told a select few. i asked my boss whose pregnant some questions, so that was an obvious give away. lol. i had to tell my grandmother. it was eatting me alive. lol. i needed to let it out and tell someone.
i am so sorry to hear your family is like that. that's totally insane and if i may say so, wrong. i will keep checkin' and try to help you any of the ways i can.
i want to take a test, but something tells me it's all gonna come back negative. so, i'd rather wait and get a good answer, i'm prepared for. but i'm not sure what that answer is yet. are you? lol. ↑ |

Oh haha, I was totally kidding about my family. I mean...they'd be VERY upset, I'm sure, but they wouldn't do anything too drastic. But thank you - you seem like a very sweet girl and I really wish you the best.
I dunno if I'm ready for the answer yet either. Part of me knows that like...I just decided on a college for next year, etc...and an abortion would be best, if I really am. But part of me really wants to have a baby with my boyfriend (we've been together for a super long time) and I think I'd be sad if I'm not.

i just went out and bought a test.
now that parts out of my system.. now i need to get the courage to take it.
i don't believe in abortions, no offence to those who do, but i believe it to be wrong. i always have.
but, i am glad you have a good secure boyfriend. i do aswell. i haven't been with him long, but we've known one another for a long time. so, that's just as good. he's been my best friend for yrs. so, i know i can count on him! lol. but i dunno. now i need the courage to wanna know the answer. ↑ |
