I have been on the depo injection for 2 years and came off in November. Although my partner and I are not actively trying for a baby, we're not NOT trying either, a baby would be a blessing. I have had 2 peroiods, but 10 days after the last one, I had slight spotting for 2 days. I am now 2 weeks late, am absolutely knackered all the time, peeing for Britain, feeling nauseous, very emotional, am having a lot of period-pain type cramps, and am very bloated, all of which I had when I was first pregnant with my little boy who is now 4. Despite all this I am still having negative pregnancy test results. I went to my doctor last week, who said to wait 4 weeks, and if my period still hasn't shown, he'll organise an internal scan. My partner says to just wait, but I feel like I'm going mad as I don't know what is going on with my own body. Any advice? ↓

| when you went to the doctors did they do a pregnancy test ? blood test r better you sould go have a blood test done before you get an internal scan. i know when my sister was pregnant with her second all the test she took told her she wasnt even the one the doctor gave her till she was 2 months they told her no she wasnt but then at 2 months they blood tested her and she was pregnant so go to the free clinic or the hospital and get a blood test to make sure you never know. ↑ |

| He said there was no point in doing another test at that time. He said he didn't really have much faith in modern day HPT's and he was a firm believer in women's intuition. It's great that he didn't think I was a kook and send me out of his office, but it's just the waiting game that I can't deal with. I know for a fact that I could only be 6 weeks max, but my stomach is rock hard, and I feel exactly the same as I did with my little boy, the only difference being, that I had a positive HPT at 3 weeks with him. | I have a friend who was on the shot also and became pregnant. She took lots of hpt's and the doctor's took two blood test and both came out negative. Then 3 months later she went to the doctor because she said dhe felt something motving and she was almost 5 months pregnant and still no positive blood test, the doctors only found out because she bugged them and they finally did an ultrasound, now she has a healthy baby girl. ↑ |

| Wow Rita - Im glad I read that! I too feel pregnant. No period, boobs hurting, tired, headaches, peeing all the time, etc. My period is 16 days late now. I took 4 HPT's - all negative and I had a blood test done at the gyno when I was 11 days late - also negative. Period is still MIA. I have never ever been late! So I have been online trying to find out if anyone ever has had a negative blood test and still been pregnant? I am having an ultrasound done next week to check to see if Im not getting my period cause I have cysts - so I guess I will find out then if pregnant or not. I hope so! I really dont want to have cysts! and hubby and I want a baby! ↑ |
