Hi all. I am wondering what type of prenatal vitamins you all are taking. I was having a horrible time swallowing the first ones I had, so my doc gave me chewable ones. Well tonight I tried to take them and I got so sick I threw up. I am on bedrest and am having very bad morning sickness all day long because of it. Is anyone taking smaller pills? I wish they would come out with a patch. That would make life so much easier!!

I am taking some pills called Natelle. They are pink and sugar coated. They're okay. The first ones I were on gave me these nasty toxic burps and made me want to vomit. I don't really have any side effects from these. But, I did not know they have chewable ones.... good to know.

Oh... well, that won't work then.... LOL. At the beginning of my pregnancy I cheated and took my daughter's childrens flinstones vitamins instead of taking mine (before I went to the doc). I wish they could make ours taste like those. Those are good.

I know. We are already nauseous, we don't need anything else to make us throw up

I am taking Materna. They have allot of iron in them, so I have to eat breakfeast with them or I will feel sick. They are pretty big.

I'm taking Stewart Prenatal vitamins. I was taking primacare prenatal vitamins for the first 6 months of my pregnancy but I couldn't stand them! I would come up with any excuse not to take them. They were monsterous and purple and would make me gag all the time. The Stewart Prenatals are tablets that are on the larger side but definitely weren't as big as the Primacare ones. They're coated too and go down easy. I was scared they were going to upset my tummy since they're a different formula than the Primacare and the Primacare's didn't make me upset. But the Stewart ones are perfect for me.

I take NatureMade OTC vitamins. They're awesome - no taste, not too bad to swallow.

I just found Pregnancy Plus Prenatal Multivitamin online. It says they are half the size of a penny! Has anyone taken these?

I take prenate elite. I hate them, but my dr said they are the best Rx brand and they have omega-3 and lots others do not. So I suffer

My daughter takes CENOGEN ULTRA, they are great. They are the first ones she has been able to take and not get sick off them. OB should have like 1 week sample packs to try. They are the size of a tylenol caplet so they are easy to swallow.

I am taking Materna now that I can choke them down, but when I had morning sickness I took "ISU" (brand) "expecting" it worked great for when I had morning sickness. The capsule was easy to swallow and you take one 2 times a day, that way the does of iron is spread out a little reducing the nausea and constipation. I loved them.
