Is it normal for babies who dont spit up on a daily basis to spit up at times? Olivia had 2 little spit ups today close together in the one feed and usually she doesnt spit up at all. She has no fever and is not unhappy..one was like just milk that came straight up and the other was the curdled type...should i be worried that its something more?? Is she sick?

Nikki it is completely normal for her to spit up. Babies who have reflux are visible in pain when they eat and after, and that is usually why they throw up.

its not vomit. vomit is bile. spit up is just usually the formula or food.

I wouldn't be too worried at this point. My son hardly ever spit up but once or twice he really did! He was not sick on either of these occasions. If you do see other symptoms creeping up though, you may want to call a nurse just to check in.
