At about 130 last night I started having some pretty good contractions and thought well maybe I should get some sleep so I'll be ready if this progress's into actual labor. So I went to pee and then was going to call it a night and my water broke while on the toilet.
I woke up Albert and we got things together and headed towards the hospital. around 330am we got here at the hospital (yes Im still here Im on the hospital internet with my lab top. ) :) I was 3cm dilated and 75% effaced when I arrived. at 730am I was 5cm and asked for the EPI, once the EPI was in I was 10cm and ready to push. She was born at 718am. Weight was 6lb 13oz and 19 1/2 inches long. No complications at all she is perfect. :)
The great thing is, is once the doctor actually got here and I could actually push it was one contraction and 4 pushes and she was out :)
Just wanted to put a quick post up :) Sorry if it doesnt make much since Im alittle doopy!! I proofread later and fix anything that isnt right or just doesnt make since. I'll post pictures on my myspace later. ↓

Oh and did you guys get 2 dilation tellings after you had your first baby cuz she said 5cm on the outside 2 on the inside. I just shock my head and agreed. But why is that. = ↑ |

Ok Im alittle better know lol :)
Ya as I warned I was alittle doppy so it was liable to make someone alittle confused.
The dilation question was I arrived at 3:30 am and when they check I was 3cm (on the inside) I asked her about the 5cm (on the outside) and she said that they dont count that because it isnt what actually determines if you are ready to deliever so from that point forward I never heard about the outside cervical dilation.
At 6:30 I was 5cm and asked for the EPI and it did automatically send me to a 10 when it was complete. The only bad part was waiting for the doctor to come and the EPI to kick in. I felt bad afterwards cause I keep telling the Anastesiologist (SP) that he didnt do it right cause I was still feeling them. But he assured me that it took a minute to kick in. She was born at 7:18.
Sorry to confuse everyone I was just wanting to give ya'll an update and didnt realize until now how confusing it was. :) Glad ya'll understand.
Any other questions just let me know :) Oh and her name is Alyssa Marie Gamez. My husband picked out the entire thing. :) Figured it was fair since he let me put Douglas (my dads name)for our son when he was supposed to be a (III-the third)
She did have trouble with her formula so there switching her to Lactos Free so hopefully that will prevent her from spitting up so much.
M25 she was 3 1/2 weeks early. I had a gut feeling. But I never knew 100% for sure though wierd how right we are sometimes about things. ↑ |

| If she is having trouble with formula don't forget you can still breastfeed. She will most likely have very little trouble if you were to give it a go. | :) Lactos Free is working wonders she does really well. I should get to go home tomorrow, I cant wait to sleep in my own bed. Even though its nice not to have to cook my own meals lol. Getting alittle spoiled. ↑ |
