its not usually normal for her to get a nappy rash at 2 weeks old !! are you putting barrier cream on everytime you change her nappy ??
i put it on everytime i change my daughters nappy just encase i left her too long in her pee/poos then it wouldn't make her bum Raw..
Perhaps your baby has what your son has ?!?!? she has no immune system yet. and its more than likely she would catch what hes got.
As for the waking every 2 to 3 hours.. i had the same problem with izzy.. she wasnt hungry that often, it was more like wanting the sucking.. do you give her a pacifier ?? i found mine really helpful...
I can imagine how hard it is having a tiny baby and a 1 year old son.. must be so hard !! is your partner around ?? can you ask him to look after the kids while you have a 1 / 2 hour nap when he comes home from work ? ↑ |
I put her the cream and it doesn't seem to make a difference. I change her pamper everytime she wakes up. When she wakes up every 2-3 hours she drinks 4 ounces. We took my son to the hospital today and they didn't tell me anything new except he has a virus. I already knew that and now he has fever blisters on his face. She hasn't catched what he has they are not even near eachother. She is not sick. She isn't really a pacifier baby, she spits it right out. He watches them too. He is a great help otherwise I would be a goner! I just feel bad since he has to go to work. All three of them are sleeping right now, but I can't manage to go to sleep. ↑ |
Maybe she is allergic to the Pampers. Many of the diapers by Pampers have something called baby dry... it's a chemical and it's what makes the diapers smell like baby powder and feel dry longer. Tons of babies are allergic to them. Try changing the diapers... if you are breastfeeding you might want to change something in your diet. It's not normal for a newborn to have a diaper rash. ↑ |
My son is doing alot better now. Her diaper rash has gone away. I think she might be getting colic because all she did today was cry and she wouldn't nap. She is asleep right now, but I think it's going to be a long night. ↑ |
I'm glad your little ones are doing better! I know what you mean about the sleepless nights though. Both of my kids and I are sick right now and its taking a toll on me! I have a 6 year old and a 7 month old and my oldest has been sick for 3 weeks with a virus and my 7 month old started getting sick 4 days ago, as did I. I'm so tired I swear I could just fall asleep standing up...LOL. My baby is up about every hour since he is sick and it makes me grouchy too. ↑ |
