We just got back from Kadens first swimming lesson. He loved it! He was the only baby that never cried. He went in on his back, tummy, we dunked them, we went in the "river", down a giant waterslide and tried to blow bubbles... he mostly just tried to lick the water. It was awesome. He was laughing and smiling the whole time. You guys should definately sign up for these classes if you have them, once your baby gets here.

Yay for Kaden! I used to teach 'mom and me" swim classes at the Y, and it was fun to watch the babies play. A lot of them were scared tho, so that's awesome that he wasn't!

Awww--how freaking cute! I wish our town had something like that. Did anyone go with you to take pictures? I would love to see that. :)

Haha yes I did mom to be. I got him a really cut little pair of shorts that are blue and red.

My friends mom took a few pictures, she has to email them to me still. I think I am going to bring my camera to the next class and just get one of the lifegaurds to take some. It was too cute to miss.

hey randi, that sound like so much fun, I am going to have to look into that, and it gets you out of the house too so that is a bonus.....but the bathing suit thing isnt so appealing

I plan to take kendra swimming as soon as it gets warmer out. You have to join the YMCA here to do swim lessions and it is like 90.00 per month. Jeremiah loved the water when he was a baby and he still loves to swim. We had a pool at my moms house and I remember his 2nd summer he was only about 14mo old. He ran accross the yard climbed up on to the pool pump and jumped in. I was running after him, but he got in before I could reach him. His little ass swam accross the pool under water to the ladder and climbed out. I was sooo scared. My step dad moved the pump farther away after that LOL
