I was one of those people who told you just to be patient, the the baby will eventually come and it will be well worth the wait. It's not that those of us who are pregnant with our second, third or fourth or even those of us who just had our babies don't feel you, it's that we know exactly what you are talking about because we all have been there. The last month is terrible and the last two weeks can be worse. I cried at each one of my doctors visits because I was so miserable and uncomfortable. I was mad at him for not understanding. I hated my husband because he was able to sleep and I couldn't. There wasn't a whole lot of room for my son so he was constantly up in my rib cage, even after he dropped. I had bruises like you wouldn't believe. And apparently the doctor thought that it would ease my mind to tell me that he was sorry but there was still a chance that I could go an additional two weeks past my due date.

I found that sitting up while I slept allowed me to sleep somewhat better. I still hated my husband because how dare he be comfortable and sleeping, while all I wanted was to find a comfortable position. I might have gotten an hours worth of sleep a night.

Just do you best to stay comfortable.

i was just with my doctor today and he told me that my baby didnt drop yet ! and he didnt expect him in this week too ! i am going really crazy..i dont believe i have 3weeks to go if he didnt come in his due date ! and the doctor told me only 4% of women deliver in their time !

It's not uncommon for time pregnancies to go 2 weeks beyond their due dates, so this is why the doctor automatically just tell you this. Not to say it's not possible to go over your due date with your second, third or fourth it's just less likely. The good news for you is that it sounds as if your doctor has decided not to let you go more then 1 week over your due date.

However, of the baby doesn't drop within the next three weeks chances are you'll end up having a c-section because unless the baby is down, inducing isn't going to make a whole lot of difference because as far as your body knows, your not ready to deliver this baby.

It depends...If the baby is down but not completely down they might induce labor and see if the contraction don't help the baby move down, so there is still a chance that they will attempt a vaginal birth. If the baby is not down somewhat, and the know that labor isn't going to help bring the baby down (which means that he/she is able to flip turn around) then they will most likely won't attempt it. In some women, expecially if this is their first, sometime the baby doesn't drop down until their in labor.

Now, if the baby ends up dropping and ends up being breech, the will either attempt to turn the baby (if they give you this as an option I would decline it, I heard that this is a very painful procedure) or they will do a c-section. Most doctors will not allow you to deliver a breech baby vaginally because of the risks involved.

My sister was induce two weeks after her due date and ended up having a c-section because she never dilated more then 1 cm. It was blessing in disguise those, when the delivered my nephew they found that his umbilical cord was wrapped around his neck.
