I dont want to tell her off for doing it becasue thats being negative butis there soemthing i can do to encourage her not to do it..i try to distract her with other things, talk to her play with her etc but nothing works she just loves to scream!

how old is she? i cant recall. and just a wild guess, but the tantrums, so to say, probably from the teeth/gums hurting. ":)

Liv is 5 months now! and yeah i would def call this a tantrum!!! she stops if you pick her up..like you cant walk away from her at the moment! Its crazy hahah i love her so much though i just dont want her to get used to trowing them and then thinking she can have her own way!

Yea thats normal, my son got his first tooth at 4 and a half months and the second about three days later. He loves to scream as well. If you think that it may be from teething, you can give her some tylenol of whatever you have for it. But sometimes babies just want to hear themselves, so you have to let them scream.

Is she screaming as in crying/ screaming, or just randomly screaming for fun?

My son went through a stage where he would yell/ scream as loud as he could, pause and then laugh. He was discovering his control over his voice. He was also a fussy baby and so he would hav screaming fits until about a month ago (he is 11 months old now)

Whenevre he cuts a tooth he does cry and get much fussier. I give him something cold to eat, tylenol if it's bad, teething tablets or chew toys. My sons two top teeth came in within a few days of eachother, so I would say it's normal.
