Okay, so today at the doctor I found out I was 2cm dialated and 50% effaced.

I was a little excited about this because it means that the EPO might actually be working :)

On the downside, I have a little protien in my urine and my feet are really swollen. But I guess for 37 weeks that much could be expected.

When I was prego with Sophie I was 2cm and 50% at 37 weeks too and I delivered the next week! You're so close!!

bad thing, my body stopped dialating once my water broke, so i was put on pitocin and ended up having a 29 hour labor b.c it took so long to dialate.

Me too Coart...checked in to the hospital at 3cm and 100%, then 15 hours later and a ton of pitocin - still 3 cm! But...once I got that epi I dilated pretty quickly. I forget - how long before you got your epi - and did it help you dilate?

I was 2cm and 70% effaced at 36 weeks, and still induced at 40 (I had dilated another 2 cm by then). Just be prepared that you might still go a while before you have the baby -- I got so excited when they told me that, and still had to wait 4 weeks until I had my baby.

Yes...the waiting game...it's so hard to not get excited, but it's true - some women walk around dilated to 4 for weeks before they deliver. I get checked for the first time next Tues. and I'm trying not to get my hopes up:)

And Megan - my hubby's name is Andy lol!

I am walking around and still doing the whole EPO. But realize it could still be a while before she comes out.
