It is currently 'try time' (as in lets try to conceive). We are relaxed as a couple about it and having a lot of fun. I think my husband was in shock when I said it was the 7th month we have been TTC, he always had a feeling it would happen straight away (he says that would be because he is unlucky), so he is a bit lost knowing we have been trying for 7 months.
I say this every month but I think it is our month. I know I promised that we wouldn't use any ovulation tests this month but I used one this morning and it came up with a faint second line, we have been doing it (intercourse) quite regularly, so I think our chances are quite good.
I hope that all of you who are ttc are doing well.

| goodluck. question do you really only have sex around the time you ovulate? like its been suggested you should try every other night, just have casual sex. alot of women fall pregnant quicker this way than charting AF and all that. ↑ |

We do have 'casual sex' throughout the month, at the moment work is stressful so there are a few nights when we are just too exhausted, I ovulate during the coming week (I assume from previous testing), but over the last week it has been regular and good, ie yesterday afternoon and this morning, it has been fun and enjoyable, we will probably have it again tonight or this afternoon as it is the weekend and we have time to, then this coming week we will try morning and/or night. As long as we are enjoying it and having fun we will continue to keep it up. It isn't 'clinical' anymore, after 7mths it is just lots of sex, not lots of making baby sex.
zoey9810 after 7mths if I was trying everyday I would be a walking sperm bank... but I know what you mean.
Also I don't chart, I don't see the point in it at the moment Coartney, esp if we are frequently having sex it won't make a difference (but I know it will help show if I am or when I am ovulating... but it would stress me out). ↑ |

My husband gets suspicious when we have lots of sex, usually followed by "it's around that time isn't it?"... I am a bit of a prude, so this month it has been great I have been adventurous and 'naughty', he likes it and ultimately we are having fun and not thinking about what we are doing which is ttc, tonight I dressed up and called him into the bedroom... I liked it.... so did he. I must say thought I am a little tired and sore from having it more frequently :S It will be worth it though.
Anyway I dont want to have any more late nights... and it is now midnight so I must go to bed. Hopefully this is my last late night in a long time, I know it is not good for my body. ↑ |

A didgeredoo is a hollowed out long piece of wood which is a wind instrument, it is also painted. It is an Australian Aboriginal instrument. Aboriginal custom is that women are NOT allowed to play it, if they do they will fall pregnant. This is a strict custom which does exist today. I have asked some of my indigenous students about it and it is not womens business.
Also, Logan we are trying to conceive our first child (I guess our cats don't count). I would love to have four children but have no chance, just trying to have one is hard enough.
And Coartney, I know what a dildo is, I used it twice yesterday for fun to encourage my dh to come in and join me and to 'knock me up', it worked I got sex, it is a sure fire bet... play with dildo = sex with dh :) I dressed up last night it was great. my bf and i had sex every night for several months before I got pregnant.Just keep trying.My doc was surprised that I got preg as quickly as I did because my uterus is tilted and I've had some health problems in the past.I wasn't trying to get preg and was totally shocked.Take alot of good vitamins and eat healthy,i heard that helps alot.Good luck!Your turn is coming!!!

If it makes you feel any better... when we finally got pregnant last month we only had sex one time and it was very short lived. I had had part of my cervix cut out a week before, so I was very sore. It worked, though! So if you miss one night I'm pretty sure you'll be okay! ↑ |
