underneath? I'm kinda confused about the location of the pain except that it's near your vagina. I'm 20 weeks and have been getting like brief sharp pains in my vagina as well. What do yours feel like?

Im currently 28weeks pregnant and am getting the same pains as you. I am going to tell my doc when I go into my appointment and see what she says. Im sure its just stretch and what not but Im going to tell her anyways. Just thought id let you know Im having them to and we are pretty close due date wise.

Ooo, oooo, my hand's up, I know this one. I had to ask my doctor the same thing last time I went in because it just felt like this annoying pain vaginally, and it wasn't because of any rough sex or anything.

Congratulations ladies, your baby is kicking the living hell out of your cervix, the same as it kicks your tummy, or your back, or your hips. My doctor said this generally happens to about 80% of moms between the 15th and 32nd weeks of pregnancy. From about when your baby starts moving until it's getting in it's head down position and readying for birth. Sad part is, there really isn't much to ease this pain except just waiting until your baby moves and emptying your bladder often.

I sometimes get the same pain as all of your women describe, however I also seem to get some pain along my pubic bone, which hurts alot...but it eventually goes away. I know it's not from sex, so i'm guessing this too is from baby?

I had something like that when I was that far along, and I had a urinary track infection

Well, true, you may want to get a UTI (urinary tract infection) ruled out first off. I did just that because it hurt like dammit when I felt that strong crampy pain down in the peculiars.

After it was ruled out by a simple urine test, my doctor did an ultrasound and found a little foot wedged sort of odd and giving me a swift kick in the crotch on occasion. I wonder if that's the same sorta pain that guys get (multiplied of course) when they get a knee to the groin???

Angela, I also had this with my last preg. The pressure was sooo bad that I went to the doctors and they told me that it was normal. It actually felt like the baby was going to drop out. However, when i went the second time because I couldnt stand it anymore, they told be to go to Labor and delievery and come to fing out I was contracting earlty and my labor had to be stopped. Hopw this helps.

I think I know exactly what you're talking about. I have the same thing. I am 33 weeks pregnant. I asked my OB about it and she told me it was pressure from the baby, fluid etc. Ask your doctor, but I'm sure its perfectly normal.

I was told exactly what ladyblueblood had said her doctor told her from my doctor when I was pregnanct with my first. And unfortunately there is nothing you can do about it. I am now 17 weeks pregnant with my second and have started feeling them same pain.

ladyblueblood you solved the mystery for me by answering this question. My baby is very active especially with a full bladder. I was wondering why I was having pain like that, the doctor's told me it is because it is my third pregnancy and my muscles are more relaxed so I can feel alot of pressure. I am due August 20th and the baby's head is down in position so I noticed I wasn't having that same pain. Now I know why. Thanks.
