I had a c-sec with last preg. but only because my water broke @35wks and no labour. I had choice between induction or c-sec and since it was a surrogate preg. seemed ok...medically inputted, medically outputted (made more sence at the time!)
There was no pressing reason to have the c-sec and delivered two babies beforehand all natural. I don't see my OB-GYN for another 15 wks to discuss it so wondering if anyone else delivered naturally after non-threatening c-sec. I'm assuming a natural delivery since mine were so easy (easy to say after-the-fact of course!!)
Any input would be appreciated!
thanx

this is a good question for lana_81. you can look up her pregnancy journal with the same user name and leave a comment in her guestbook for her to get back to you

Thanks guys---I have talked to my family Dr. (who in monitoring me til about 30wks) and he's pretty useless when it come to info.
I know here (Ontario, Canada) they try to encourage VBAC but not sure what the stipulations are yet.
I will leave a msg for lana_81 though, she makes me hopeful if she has done it.
Thanx again

at my drs office he gave me a choice at first. then when i went in for my appt when i was 35 weeks he told me that it was illegal for him to do a vbac due to not having a major surgeon there in the room just in case my uterus ruptures. i was really mad but i guess i have no choice now. but i know some women that have had vbacs but my dr wont let me. good luck i hope you can deliver natural.
