Castor Oil is not a safe method of inducing labour.

Please take a look at: www.dooyoo.co.uk/parenting-issu
es/birth-induction/316158

It
can cause potentially dangerous side-effects and lead to problems for both you and the baby.

I know we all heard of great aunt Agatha who used it for each of her 18 pregnancies, but please don't follow old-wives tales. Be patient if you're overdue. Nature will take its' course in good time.

If you're very overdue or feeling unwell then get induced properly in hospital.

Sex and currys are okay, but please don't do the castor oil thing.

I was overdue with my second child last year and I asked my Dr what I could do. He said castor oil was safe if used correctly. Best best it to always ask your Dr. No offence but everyone has an opinion or has read something somewhere. So seeking advice is fine but ALWAYS run it buy your Doc first.
