Hey all,
Iv just been contacted by someone Iv known for many years. A very close friends sister. She thought Id have an answer as she is too scared to tell anyone else.
Heres the problem: She is pregnant, considering an abortion.
The thing is... The child was conceived out of sin (her uncle) and she wants to know if it will be a bigger sin to keep the child or abort it.?
She is 8 weeks

It's your friend's decision. If she is going to terminate, better to do it soon; before 9 weeks she can take 2 pills within 24 hours of each other which will terminate the pregnancy, which will be less traumatic for her.
This is to do with whether she will be able to carry a baby for 9 months, love it, cherish it, raise it, regardless of the circumstances... or not.
If not, then the sooner she has the abortion the better. ↑ |

And as far as sinning is concerned, it would never be a sin to keep a little baby. It's not the fetus' fault it was conceived under these circumstances.
And in my opinion, it's not a sin to abort either, as long as you do it soon, preferably before 12 weeks. ↑ |

So I would say aborting would be adding more to her sin.

I just want to be clear, she was being molested/rape against or will or was ot consentual(sp)?

Yes that horrible thing happened.. but how is it the babies fault ?? This baby deserves too live too... there are other options such as adoption ( you know who u are.. and i know u wont agree with me on this )

| well i don't believe that abortion is okay but i do think that she should put the baby up for adoption. like lauren said, who wants their dad and uncle to be the same person? that would make for a pretty crappy life. but if she put the baby up for adoption with sealed records no one would ever have to know that the baby was a baby from incest. this is just my opinion and what i would tell her if she was my friend. ↑ |
