My baby was breech at 34 weeks and my doctor aid she still had time to turn. I dont know how but she did. If your doctor is worried about it then there might not be much of a chance of your baby turning. But from all that I have read, they can turn at the last minute.

hello, well i am 31 weeks and i was wondering the same thing, i am going for my next ultrasound in 2 weeks, but as far as they can feel she is actually transverse(across my tummy) her head is on my left side and her feet and legs are on my right side. they did tell me there was nothing to worry about, she still had time, but it is very uncomfortable, i cant lay on either of my sides so i have to lay on my back, which is for one not that good for the baby and not that much more comfortable. i am worried to wait to see if she turns, i would much rather them do anything they can to turn her. ya know. does anyone know when they make thier final decision to do a c-section?

My baby decided to turn breech at 36 weeks! I was so disappointed when I went in. My Dr. did an aversion that day because after 36 weeks or so they get a little big and it's harder to turn them. Of course he flipped back during the week and stayed breech until 38 weeks. (I was told that I had a small baby because they usually stay put after 36 weeks, they get too big) He was over 10 pounds when he was born, so they figured he must have been a good 8 pounds when they turned him. My mom had the same thing happen with my little brother, he turned at 39 weeks though. I guess babies have their own plans, watch out if they're that stubborn now...It'll all work out for the best, plus it's kinda cool to watch if they do turn on their own, you can see it all happening in your belly!
