Ive been debating on weither to do it while she is small or wait until she is alittle bigger. I've heard if you do it while there still little they wont bother them as much and they can heal faster.
When did you get your daughters ears pierced or when would you if you had one?

i got my daughters ears pierced at 6 weeks old. my husbands aunt pierced her ears for us. Like an hour later she was fine she didnt cry when we touched her ears. My doctor said she could of pierced her ears at 4 weeks old. She said that was the youngest age you can get thier ears pierce at. i think its better to get done while they are still young.

i always wanted to get my daughters ears pierced...i had planned to get it done about 6 weeks old.... But since day 1 she has always been scared of loud noises... i think it would terrify her, so im going to wait until she understands whats going on.
All babies are different though, some babies dont even know whats just happened and dont care... and sleep through the whole thing lol..

BENNETTH:
Did your daughter have a problem with pulling on her ears or anything or did she just leave them alone?

Awesome. I hope Alyssa does the same thing. I will probably try to do it around the same time then so maybe she will do just as good. Thank you for sharing.

What do you think of a boy getting one of his ears pierced?

I am not going to get Olivias ears done until she wants them done. All of my cousins had them done as babies and as they got older their holes looked funny because their ears grew so much.

i had my ears done at 6 months old.. and my holes arn't funny shaped... suppose is varies for every child.

Lol i dont really like the look of boys with there ears done.. BUT thats just me. No one has it done in NZ on baby boys.... dunno if its like that in Ireland or not ?

Ah it just depends on the mother. Obviously it's very common to get girls done, but only when they're around 6-10 years old. Not as babies. As for boys, usually they decide if and when they want it done. And mostly it's not done on boys.

i waited until my girls were old enough to decide that they wanted them done, emma got hers done back in septemeber at 3 1/2 yrs old and then gracie got hers done a couple of weeks ago for her 3rd birthday....cole will not be getting his ears pierced as long as i still have a say in it lol

my older bro got his done when he was in high school, but they are closed up now, and chris had them done when he was younger too, but only one ear.
