That is such a normal fear. He doesn't have to look but curiosity will probably get the best of him and he will. Honestly if he's in there and knows basically what happened the thought of it and the sight of it won't be much different. There are millions of dads in this world who see it and look at their wife differently, but in a good way. She isn't just his wife any more, she's the mother of his first born child. If he can't look at you the same way sexually then there's a problem on his end. You had HIS baby. ↑ |
Your body has to do what it has to do. If your husband thinks its gross and cant look at you the same, then thats his problem. What does he expect? A stork to drop the baby in your lap? Just tell him to stay by your head if its that bad! ↑ |
My husband thought he'd be queasy and wasn't sure if he wanted to see it, which was fine by me. He held my hand and helped me the whole time, but changed his mind and ran down to watch when our baby was born, the Dr. called him over and he was so excited. We have no problems, I think he respects what I did a whole lot more though because he witnessed it! He did get a little freaked out by the afterbirth and came back up by me for that part... ↑ |
i felt the same way, i told my hubby to stand by my head, but if men looked at us differently after childbirth, the world wouldn't be so populated,LOL its normal tracey, he will get over it ↑ |
arrrgh i hate men right now. maybe i will turn lesbian after i have my baby LOL ↑ |
