I just got this message from Coartney's husband:
Well, I just got off the phone with coart and she told me that the doctor the other night gave her wrong results about her dilation. She is dilated 1 cm on the outside and the inside is still closed. She is still at the hospital because of her swelling and high blood pressure 158 over 95. She will be there for another 4 hours at least. The doctors are gonna wait for some tests to come back and then they will go from there. She said, they might induce depending on results. She will keep me up to date with new info and I will do my best to keep everyone else up to parr.

| I'm glad everything is okay and that you don't have preeclampsia. One time my BP measured high so I asked if I could have them take it again at the end of my appointment, which they did, and the second time it was normal. As far as the dilation though...how do they say 3cm??? That's a huge difference from what they're saying now! Oh well...baby will come when he's ready, and to be honest, I don't put much faith in all the measuring. I've said it before - I measured ahead and according to the U/S at 36 weeks I was supposed to have a 9 + pounder and she was only 7-14 so... ↑ |

| mara they didnt do a weight estimate, they measured the femur and the skull and according to those he is 39w5d instead of 37w1d and the way the doctor does it with the tape measure it was 40cm. she said oh well it could be the way he is laying. anyways, was just saying. but yeh my internet keeps cutting in and out for some ungodly reason and its pissing me off to no end. and the thing with the BP she does it where u listen and she listened for like 2 seconds, i dont like the nurse in the office, she is very short and snooty, if there were other nurses i would be asking to see a different one. bitch. lol ↑ |

| Yeah - that's the same way they measured Sophie at 36 weeks. They measured the femur, all internal organs, the head (which they had to shove the transducer under the pubic bone to measure the head) and the belly several ways (vertical, horizontal etc) and that was when they said 9 pounds or more. And maybe your baby will be big, but I just wanted to reassure your yoni that she might not have to push out such a big boy!!! ↑ |

| Hey Coart, glad to hear you're doing well. Sorry no baby yet. I saw you are trying to get a uti. I highly recommend getting once a day cranberry pills. Take them once an hour for a couple of days and it should go away. It's so much better than drinking all that damn cranberry juice! Good luck! I hope you deliver soon! ↑ |

| i dont mind cranberry juice. they said drink 8oz in the morning and 8 at night. i prefer to drink it than take pills, for some reason my body doesnt like pills and they usually make me extremely gaggy lol .. the only reason i take my zantac is b.c of the heartburn. well mara i guess we'll see. ill post tht damn US pic of his face tomorrow. im so exhausted i have yet to get any sleep. everytime id start to fall asleep in the hospital bed, the alarm would start going off b.c he would hit get the damn monitor off him lol ↑ |

| I think that it depends on how big your fingers are. I had a lady tell me I was 6cm and then my dr tell me I was more like 4.5 and then another resident say I was 5cm. It is not a science I guess LOL Well I hope if he does stay in there that he lets your body stay normal. You don't need any more drama ↑ |

| well you never know. I wend form 1cm and still very firm w/ non of my plug lost to water breaking and having the baby. I have determined that there are no real indications that labor will start LOL I was at a baby shower on sunday and one chick there was due in 2 days she was already 4.5 cm dialated. I was like WTF shouldn't you be at the hospital in labor. She said she had been at 4cm for 2 weeks LOL and had jsut added the .5 with in the last 2 days ↑ |

| no my water broke at about 1:30ish in the morning. I did end up needing potocin(sp) at about 7:30ish that morning and ended up having a c section because the cord was around my little girls neck. ↑ |
