Not to freak you out, but my first son came really fast at the end of my pushing and was big, he pulled my cervix out with him (prolapsed). It went back up some, but I had major work to do because of pelvic floor relaxation, had problems with incontinence too. Last year I was still having problems and everything was really low, my Dr. decided to send me to a physical therapist and asked me to wait at least 6 months before trying for another baby. Most of what I did was kegels and it made a big difference for me, I have more feeling and control. It might just depend on the person. My husband also noticed...

Yep, it was a good thing! I needed it, but I had a really tough time recovering after my first baby, I don't think it's usually that bad though. This time around I'm keeping up with them just to be safe, but they did tighten everything and pull it back up. It may depend on your body, mine was a little worse than some of my friends', some people don't ever notice a difference or need to do them, just lucky I guess. Can't hurt any, plus it gives you great muscle tone and control, makes sex even better!

after my sister had her second baby (he had 2 in her late 30s) she was having all kinds of problems and she got some sort of bladder lift and vagina retightening. it was pretty major surgery. the doctor told her no amount of kegels would have made a difference, but maybe it was cause she was already so far gone, it couldnt be saved??? i dont know!

When it comes to your bladder and some things like that you do need surgery to fix it. I was just lucky it was my cervix and weakened muscles, that you can fix by exercise.
