i went into labor last sunday and dilated to 4 cm and then it stopped and then friday it started again and i got to 5 cm and 60% effaced i already lots my mucas plug so i was just wonder if any one can help as to when i will go into labor cuz i have been at 5 and 60 for a week now and im due the 22nd of may ↓

Are you going in to the hospital or doing it at home? The hospital will usually keep you at a 4 and just help your labor along. Not sure how they do it at home births, but my co-worker stalled at 8 and her midwife took her to the hospital. I think by 5 you are in active labor. I would ask your Dr. what to do, seems strange they would let you go... ↑

i will be going to the hospital to have my baby i just want to get it oever with cuz im already half way there i mean i didnt think my doc would leave me at 5 and 60 i thought he would at least break my water or something *sigh* im just worried that i will get an infection or something from my cervix being open to 5 cm ↑

You should be okay as long as your water hasn't broken, that's when you are at risk for infection. Good luck, it seems like you should be able to go back in soon. ↑
