What you are looking for is any temperature that rises at least .4 degrees fahrenheit over a 48-hour period, this would indicated ovulations. This temperature should be above the highest temperatures that were taken during the previous six days. Once you've ovulated your temperature should stay up until the day that you get your period at which time it will drop. If at the time your period is due and your temperatures have not dropped or have continue to rise after ovulation this is usually a sign of pregnancy.
