i use clorox hard surface cleaner for evey's toys and high chair. i just spray and let it dry. it's also safe to use around her.

I use water and tea tree oil. It kills everything but is not toxic like bleach or other commercial cleaners.

tea tree oil is good for almost anything.

the ratio of bleach to water you use to clean the toys isnt toxic....thats exactly what the chlorox hard surface cleaner is, its just diluted bleach you can make it yourself with lots of water and a little bit of bleach

and not to argue the usage of tea tree oil because i do know that its a great cleaner and disinfectant, but it is very toxic if ingested, and can also cause skin irritation so its not 100% safe.....lol of course its prolly the same argument with the bleach that youre not using enough for it to be toxic...

My mom is a garage fanatic and everytime she gets Jaxen or Sadie anything she uses water and clorox to clean the toys or book covers she bought. Shoot I use clorox and water to clean my kitchen, thats one thing I can not stand is a nasty kitchen.

I use the clorox anywhere spray so that I don't have to worry about the rinding. It sounds like you did it fine though. the bleach is diluted and you also rinsed, so I am sure that it's cool
